Changer Server Command and Performance

Hi Y'all!

We have a SaaS server and offer the option to integrate our solution with a user's web shopping cart. So to do this, we have a local database server defined on our Servoy App Server. When a person signs up, we add their Database Server to the App Server.

We then do a switch server command when the user logs in and everything works dandy as their account on our SaaS server interfaces directly with their specific web cart.

Our question is that as we add more Database Servers, will this potentially effect performance on our App server? Specifically if each client's cart database is on another server, elsewhere on the internet.

We can imagine that the performance could effect the actual client but will it potentially effect our SaaS customers on the main App Server who are not having a

Just wanted to know if anyone has any experience with an increasing amount of app servers?
