The wiki [1] says newer versions of Terracotta will work "as long as the Terracotta API remains version 1.1.0 compatible". As of right now, that version is 3.5.2 [2], I'm still learning about Terracotta and have yet to find out if it is has compatibly with the 1.1.0 API as mentioned, has anyone tested the newer versions as 3.1.1 mentioned in the wiki is no longer available to download (might want to remove that link).

The wiki page was updated a while ago. 3.7.0 and higher is fine. You can use 3.7.2 (latest) as well.
There was a bug in Terracotta 3.5.0 <= ver < 3.7.0, so don't try those.
