Can't access server via http running on developer localhost

Postby stevebc » Thu Apr 29, 2004 10:15 pm

 Just upgraded to v. 2 and am trying to connect to developer (Servoy Server) via http on localhost (Mac OS 10.3). Preferences Services tab says that HTTPService is not started and I can't seem to get it going. When I go to http://localhost:8080/... I get the Jakarta page installed during my OpenWeb installation. The web server is running and I can access other servlets from this port. Since this is the first time I have tried this, I don't know if something is wrong...

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

In the developer services tab you can alter the port which is used to serve http, in your case 8080 is already used , so change the port to something else

I've a similar problem here.. I can't see the download page in my (internal) network anymore after I updated my solution.. I tried several different portnrs, but nothing seems to work :(

I get a blank page when I try to connect internal, but external everything works fine...

Anybody ?

How are you connecting internally then? Through the external IP? Is it routed properly? Can you connect on localhost?
