Wrong password, cannot import solution

Postby jos@devoon.nl » Thu Nov 27, 2014 3:09 pm

I installed a brand new Servoy Application Server, I exported a brand new Servoy Solution with about 14 modules from a clean workspace. No matter what, when I try to import the solution I get this:

"Wrong password, cannot import solution"

I never set any password, I tried to export the solution over and over again in different ways: with and without the applied servers, with and without users etc. Every time the same result. I created a new repository, upgraded it and tried again. Same result.

Only when I imported all the solutions one by one it worked. No errormessages, no problems. Everything runs as in developer.

Can anyone give a reasonable explanation for this? Am I doing something wrong? Is Servoy buggy? This is very frustrating.

Thanks.

Hi Jos.

Did you rename the solution before the export?

No I did not. I just tried a regular update like I do every time.

can we have a look at that solution file (and maybe your workspace)
to see why the importer things there is a password on it?

I'm not going to post it here. It is not public software. We can show it at location.

i mean within servoy. we need to look at the solution file itself. and look what really happens when you try to import.

And i guess if we see something wrong in the solution file. then we need to check why that happens and i think for that we need a workspace.
