Customized message to clients..

Postby prasadbabu.mfs » Wed Mar 18, 2015 4:23 pm

Hello All,

I'm stuck in below scenario and your thoughts would help me to solve it

When application server running in maintenance mode and if any user try to connect/launch the smart client it will pops up a default message "The server is running in maintenance mode.Clients are not allowed to connect. Please try again later". Is there any possibility that we can customize this message either from any settings of admin page or from any where..?

Thanks

If I'm not mistaken, you can find this in the (servoy standard) i18n keys

Hi Harjo,

Thanks for your response...:)

Yes, i have found that and modified the message value for key "servoy.maintenance.clientRegisterForbidden" ( which previously holds the text "The server is running in maintenance mode.Clients are not allowed to connect. Please try again later" ) to a customized one but still while importing solution and set the server to maintenance mode and tried to launch the smart client. And the same message "The server is running in maintenance mode.Clients are not allowed to connect. Please try again later" pops up to user. ( even i checked data in database i.e i18n table, it consists of new customized text as message value ). Did i go anywhere wrong..?

Thanks for your help in advance.

hmm, you really imported all i18n messages again? and you restarted the server?
If you still show the old message, than I presume this is a bug and advice you to create a bug-report
