Servoy client does not work from the Client-Machine

Postby cuoredisardegna » Mon Apr 06, 2015 8:04 pm

Hi t All,

Could SomeOne resolve this problem?

a.) I am migrating from Servoy3.5 to Servoy7. Therefore I begin to make some tests with two machines: the first one server: 192.168.1.48 (Centos7 -Java 7); and the second one client (windows8 Java 7) 192.168.1.50.

b.) The pings from the client to the server and from the server to the client go OK;

c.) If, in the server browser I type : localhost:8080, servoy-client is fine executed . The program Servoy server, installed in to the user "annunciazione" in /home/annunciazione/. This user is seen as "Out of networking " in the GUI of the server.

d.) But, if I work in th client machine, and and I type in the browser: 192.168.1.48:8080 I do not estabilish any contact with the server.

I append the server ipconfig result.

Tanks in advance to Anyone could resolve this problem and kindly give an answer.

Regards

Girolamo

are you sure that port 8080 is open in the firewall?

because if localhost:8080 works and ip:8080 doesn't that that is very likely a firewall issue
