SQL Syntax Error on solution Import

I'm having a strange problem when trying to import a solution to a new Servoy server I have set up.
I am using MySQL hosted on my ISP, with the Repository database on one MySQL instance/IP address and the actual Data database on another (never done this before) and the actual Servoy Application Server installed on a headless Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS DigitalOcean 'droplet' somewhere else (never done this before, but eventually got it set up using SSH from Mac Terminal ;-) )
Both MySQL databases are using InnoDB & utf8_bin.
Servoy details are
Server Information
Servoy version 8.0.0 b2-releaseNumber 3017

When I try to 'Import Solution' I get this error
SAS_ImportFail_882x208.png
Import Error
SAS_ImportFail_882x208.png (106.33 KiB) Viewed 3699 times

I have NEVER seen this kind of a message before and couldn't really find anything helpful on Forum, hence this post.
I am assuming it is some error related to the Repository as the Data database & tables already exist.
I am happily connected to both Database Servers using Servoy Developer on my local Mac and solution runs fine in Debug Client locally.
I am also attaching Stack Dump from server.
If anyone needs anything to help them solve this, please let me know
Thanks for any help

Hi Rafi,

What MySQL version(s) are you using ? Perhaps you need to update your JDBC driver to match your MySQL version.

Hi Robert
ROCLASI wrote:What MySQL version(s) are you using ? Perhaps you need to update your JDBC driver to match your MySQL version.

here are server details
Server type: MySQL
Server version: 5.1.73-log - Source distribution
Protocol version: 10

I was using driver
mysql-connector-java-5.1.35-bin

but am just downloading 5.1.36 and will try that tomorrow and let you know.
Thanks for the suggestion (which I hope will work ;-) )

Hi Robert,
I tried with the new driver, but same issue.
Actually, I first had an issue with a timeout to the MySQL db.
I was using 'Connection validation type = Query Validation' & had 'SELECT 1;' as the query.
I then changed this back to 'Exception Validation' but still the same error.
Thanks
