Upgrading server 6.1.6 to 7.4.4

Postby AlanBourke » Thu Sep 17, 2015 11:19 am

I have read:

https://servoyblog.wordpress.com/2013/11/07/servoy-release-policy-update/

and

https://www.servoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=19991

... however they discuss going from 6.1.6 to 7.3. I'm not clear as to whether I can do an in-place upgrade of 6.1.6 to 7.4.4. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Thanks

Hi Alan,

Unlike previous versions Servoy 7.x.x is seen as one branch. So 7.4.x is just a minor update of 7.3.x.
So yes you can do an in-place upgrade using the update URL provided.

Hope this helps.
