Azure SQL Server

We are transitioning a Servoy implementation over to Azure SQL from Amazon EC2 SQL Server and we're seeing a huge slowdown in performance. Can anyone help with this? We are not sure what this could be in terms of configuration.

Hi Ellen,
Hard to say with that description of the problem.
Do you see slow queries? Is the application server also on Azure? Are both Azure SQL and the application server running in the same region/datacenter?
Also what clients are you running (Smart/Web/NG-Ti) ?
