deploying on single user computer

Looking for some pointers on how best to install a prototype system on customers laptop for testing.

Trying to use web start on my computer to test but using http://localhosts:8080/ then clicking on the Servoy Client screen all I get is a screen of text

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<jnlp spec="1.0+"
codebase="http://localhost:8080" href="/servoy-client/servoy_client.jnlp">
<information>
<title>Servoy Client</title>
<vendor>Servoy</vendor>
<homepage href="http://www.servoy.com/"/>
<description>Database client</description>
<icon href="/lib/images/servoy_client_icon.gif"/>
<icon kind="splash" href="/lib/splashclient.gif"/>
</information>

etc etc...

Believe I read a post on Forum saying that best way to use client in stand-alone situation is to install full developer download then delete Developer but can't find the post now.

Would appreciate some guidelines from the gurus.

Thanks

The error indicates there is no java installed on that machine.

Runtime will most probably be available in February.

Thanks for quick response Jan.

Certainly should have Java as the SUN directory shows 5,146 files and 216mb - must be in there somewhere!! Also I have been running Servoy Developer on the computer.

As this may be a specific oddity with one computer would still appreciate guidlines on setting a customer machine up for single-user.

Thanks

For Servoy client it should be enough to open a Servoy server url, do the java install check on that page and the client should run.
