Smart Client - Could not launch file

Postby nickbarnett » Fri Feb 19, 2010 2:58 pm

My server is failing to launch Smart Client.
I get an Application Error dialogue box saying 'Unable to launch the application'.

When I get details, I see an 'Error: Could not launch file. Error at line 0'.

Exception:

somehow it gets a jnlp file that webstart cant parse.

Do you have it from multiply machines?

IS that server accessible for me so that i can quickly try to download it?

Getting exactly the same problem with:

https://mail.blakes.net/servoy-client

Servoy version 5.0.1 -build 861

dont know when this started happening as I generally use webclient (which works fine).
Any ideas what is going on?
Is this a new bug in build 861?

Any solutions to this?

I've got the same error when trying to launch the smart client.

The server gives the following message:
[Fatal Error] :1:21: XML version "1.0;" is not supported, only XML 1.0 is supported.

:?

And the details of the error:

This has to do with an error in the .jnlp of jasperreports. Check this topic http://www.servoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=14185
