Rob,
I changed to sun-java like you suggested.
But it made no difference. The exception is the same.

Thanks for the help

nromeou,

If the exception still list the sourceforge package then it is not running the sun java.
What does the following command output?

Code: Select all
javaws

Hi Rob,
Sorry it took a while...

The command opens a window with java info, but is empty in every tab.
No output is issued in the console.

Thanks for the help

Well, the sun javaws command shows a version and a usage string, so you still seem to not be running the sun jre.
