Java on Windows 7 now auto updates to Java 7

HI,

I have on my windows 7 machine (32 bit) java 1.6_32 installed. If I push the Java Update button in config panel ( I wanted to update to version: 1.6_33) it wants to update to Java 7 update 5.

How compatible is Servoy with Java 7??
I talked to Johan about it, and he thought there where still some issues...

Is this tested with Servoy 5.x and 6.0.x?? and if so, can you post the results here?

It saves us a LOT of trouble, if we know up front, to prevent customers from downloading Java 7....

Yes java 7 from update 4 is I think now the default.

It works fine for the developer or server (Web clients) , but there could be a problem with smartclients that have bold fonts, i think that only happens with having a English windows on a Dutch machine/locale, then some fonts will always be bold.

I already made a case/bug report for that in sun/Oracle bugzilla long time ago that this is a regression but no response yet, I guess it's really some corner case for them that wil never happen at their machines

Didn't know germans did that ;) (i though we dutch people where the only one in the world that prefer an English OS when English isn't the native language)
