When you are in the Editor - you can mark a method as "Show in menu" (checkbox at the bottom - right above the debugger). If you choose NOT to show any methods - the menu is dimmed. If you choose to show one or more methods, then the menu will not be dimmed.

Hope this helps.

Hi Bob,
all the methods are unabled.

If tests also by hand in the Servoy Client: menu Select--->Find.....Search... the menu Method comes enabled.

You are saying the methods menu stays disabled AFTER the search?

When in search mode it is normal that the method menu is disabled.
After the search it should be enabled again.

When in FIND mode none of the eventtriggers will fire and the method menu will be disabled.
This is how Servoy works.

I believe the method menu is only disabled when the main form is in find mode. But that is an educated guess.

That the menu is disabled when you open the client sounds like a bug to me.
Unless you have some onLoad scripts running that cause it to be disabled.
