Is it possible to interact with a Servoy using palmtop

Postby cuoredisardegna@tiscali.i » Wed Sep 27, 2006 7:40 am

We are tryng to develope a warehouse solution, in which every warehouseman has to interact with Servoy. Is it possible for them to use palmtop?
If yes, what should be the cost for any palmtop client or user?
Tanks in advance

Hi Gianni,

if your palmtops have a web browser, you should be able to use the new Servoy web client in version 3.0.

Version 3.0 was just released, so it's out of alpha, beta and RC...

Depends on the solution...

Some things are not supported (yet). Ingeneral, the WebClient is more strict in design, whereas the Smart Client is more forgiving.

Search the forum. Bob Cusick put up a tip/how to somewhere with tips and ideas for WebClient development.

Best way to figure out how your existing solution works in the WebClient: Give it a try :D
