Error while deploying.

Postby jay.rao » Mon Sep 25, 2017 1:51 pm

We faced an error after deploying, it was when we run the application immediately. It says $websocket.setPathname is undefined because the $websocket which was injected was not found.Although we resolved it by placing the debugger in websocket.js to forcefully run the file and once it passes through the debugger it was successfully running.

So the actual problem is would it create an issue everytime we deploy new application?

That is weird, in angular, when a dependency is injected and it cannot be found, angular will fail with an injection-error in stead of injecting null.

Are you sure $websocket is not null, or is the module injected but without the setPathname function (which is new in 8.2), that would then indicate a version error for websocket.js
