Error while closing NG Desktop window

Postby dev-ws-011 » Thu Nov 12, 2020 9:34 am

Hi All,

I have been working with NG Desktop client, but frequently I get an error while closing NG Desktop Window. This happens both at local development environment in IDE and when solution is deployed at server.

Here is the screenshot:

Hello,
on that file, on exit, NGDesktop is saving it's current size and position of the main window.
From the exception I see that write operation is not permitted to that account.
I need more details regarding the NG Desktop installation.

Have you installed the NGDesktop to an acount and use it fromn a different account?
Is the same happens when install it for all users?

Thanks

This happens not only for installed version but also when launch NG Desktop client from Servoy IDE.

I have installed for my user only and accessing the application from my user.

I will test by installing for all users and then test and let you know the results.

Thanks & Best Regards

we can try to just ignore that error
But you really should investigate why that file can't be accessed or written to.
Do you have for example another process that holds a lock to it?

If it happens randomly is it maybe when it happens another ngdesktop process still lingering around?
