I was able to update the Servoy that was having build errors to the latest release & it seems to be working fine now (& building ok) with the Java you linked to.
I'll try to make sure I update all my client's Servoy's to the latest version.

i have to disappoint that that half the size smaller will be killed maybe in the next release or else after that..

Because what is not in this release is "chromium" so with M1 we depend on the internal safari browser. which i think will work for most situations fine but we don't really test for that because we want to have the same browser over all platforms.

But for now our supplier for Chromium doesn't have a Aarch64 variant so its not included.. But they already announced they will do a new release for chrome 87 (we are now on 80) and that will include also the Aarch64 binaries, so then also our M1 build will include chromium (and will be bigger)

I see an eclipse folder of 1.12GB (2021.06) vs 503MB (2021.12). So that is about 600MB difference.
I didn't think Chromium was that big...and it turns out it isn't (it's about 80MB).

Wondering where this difference comes from I dug in deeper and I see that the Eclipse plugins pretty much all doubled up. I have 2 of each, but different versions. Even 2 versions of the bundled JRE (15 and 16).
I wonder what happend here...maybe I ran the online updater and it didn't removed the older versions?

ah, you compare a updated eclipse with a new install...

yes eclipse doesn't clean up directly old versions it does that "later" (not sure when that is i have to say)
