Webclient field: cannot type

Postby maria.kyselova » Tue Sep 17, 2013 9:22 am

Hi All,

I created a sample solution with what I think is a candidate for a bug.
Run the solution as a webclient - cannot type in the field.
If you take onRecordEditStart event off the form, then everything is fine (the event is empty, no code at all).

Please confirm and fix?

if you only do "return true" in that method then it works?

No, Johan, it doesn't work returning true, false, null or empty method.

I tried it in the Servoy simple chat solution, put an onRecordEditStart on the dialog form (with two data entry fields) and it's not working (again, with all sorts of combinations returning true/false/etc).

Guys, we are converting out app to webclient now because of the poor performance over the internet, but the application is unusable due to this bug. onRecordEditStart is critical for our customers.
Could someone, please, take urgent action to resolve this?

Servoy 7.2.0, webclient running in Chrome and Mozilla.
java.version=1.7.0_25
java.vm.info=mixed mode
os.name=Windows 7
os.version=6.1
os.arch=x86
