[Solved] Printing under Java 7 on Mac OS X

Postby swingman » Thu Sep 19, 2013 6:10 pm

Hi all,

just want to let you know there is a new Java update for Mac OS X, Java 7 Update 40, which has fixed all the printing problems we had with Servoy 6.1.x Smart Client on Java 7 on Mac OS X.
If you printed a form with custom fonts you would get ugly bitmapped characters.

It does not look like this update is being pushed out by Oracle / Apple yet, I spotted it on Oracle's site this morning.

Hope this helps,

Yeah strange indeed,

Oracle Java 7 on Mac itself says that Java 7 Update 25 the latest version is (Your system has the recommended version of Java)
But if you goto Java.com on a Mac, the download of Java 7 Update 40 is presented.
