Servoy smart client 4.1.7 works via IP but not domain

I have a Servoy 4.1.7 server which has worked perfectly for years.

Suddenly, about 2 months ago, it would no longer load solutions.

I discovered that the solution works fine if I use the ip address locally (192.168.1.200:8080) but not if I use the domain locally or externally.

AHA... I have now tried to clear out my certificates and managed to make it not work on the IP address either...

So now my Servoy solution, which was limping along using just my IP address, will now no longer work at all having cleared out the certificates... Even if I tell tell it to ignore the fact that the certificate has expired, and to always trust, and to trust everything from my domain.

you have to resign with a valid certificate of your own (by using the sign tester tool)

or import up front the certificate that the current jars are using.

How do I import the certificate that the current jars are using? The signtester tool tells me that all did verify.

i guess quickest thing to do is go to a machine that works. (that still has the certificates)
through the java preferences->security tab export that certificate and then import it in another pc that doesn't have it
