Servoy dev freeze when adding a table

Postby Riccardino » Sat Aug 09, 2003 1:43 pm

Hi,

if I add a table to my mysql database from the dataprovider window, after closing this window Servoy doesn't accept any command, not even the "close application" command.

All I can do is force-quit the application.
After re-opening, the solution doesn't seem to be damaged.

OS X.2.6, Servoy 1.1rc5

We have been able to reproduce this problem on OS X, on Windows it does not occurr. It appears to be caused by some kind of threading issue on OS X, we are investigating what we can do about it. Meanwhile use external tools to create mysql tables.
After re-opening, the solution doesn't seem to be damaged.

That's one of the key features of Servoy, all actions on the repository are processed in transactions so it is nearly impossible to damage a solution.
