HOW TO: use this forum and register issues

Postby maarten » Fri Mar 24, 2006 6:24 pm

This forum is meant as a place to discuss (possible) issues, not to register issues. When unsure something is a bug, please discuss it here.

Issues need to be registered in the Servoy Support system located at http://servoy.com/s.

Re: Servoy Support System

Postby Robert Huber » Mon Apr 03, 2006 4:00 pm

Hi Maarten

I would like to say: congratulation to the Servoy team, I think this bug tracking system will be very helpful in the future to know about existing bugs and hopefully an indication, when (a timeframe) a bug will be fixed.

Best regards, Robert

Thanks Robert,

The system is pretty basic right now but already very efficient in terms of tracking and responding to requests/bugs.
I'm sure functionality will expand as time goes by.
some things we're contemplating on:
- Overview/search base of running cases (not only your own ones) to avoid double entries.
- Voting system for SAN developers on feature requests

As always, input is welcome.

thanks

Hello Maarten

I like both ideas. Avoiding double entries is of course very helpful, because that can happen more often than expected. Overview of open cases is especially for us developer very helpful and appreciated :-)

Best regards, Robert

Great new feature, but when I click the 'Create new case' button, nothing happens...

When I log into the support system, I cannot see the type and status anymore of the cases I previously created

I don't suppose you guys would release the support system as a .servoy sample solution file. I think you're rewriting it, or switching to another system from what I heard on a webinar -- but it would be great to build my solution's bug tracking right into the solution itself, as a module... Just wondering!

I haven't been able to log into the Servoy.com/s support system for weeks, it gives an error: An internal server error occurred when requesting resource https://support.servoy.com/rest/gadget/1.0/login.

Tried emailing support@servoy.com three times... help? :D

http://servoy.com/s does not work.

It just redirects to: https://servoy.com/capabilities/saas-enablement/

Is there another link to the issues system?
