Import Solution Admin Preferences ?

Postby gdurniak » Wed Oct 01, 2014 3:50 pm

Is there any way to set or save the Filename, and General Options for the Solution Import Admin screen ?

e.g. I always pick the same solution.servoy file, and always do NOT allow Database changes

The Allow Database Changes checkbox is currently checked by default, and I might forget to un-check it !

having the solution import settings persisted (and then used for the next session) is not so hard (i guess that's what the case is about right?)
but the filename is out of our control thats the browsers upload field, that can't be really controlled by us

I've always felt that the options you want selected for import should be able to be preset in the servoy file. Why make the importer need to know what to choose when frequently it's the exporter that knows the answers?

+1 when there is a 'secure relation' between importer and exporter...

And what happens with server settings when dropping a (Servoy exported) WAR file in the right Tomcat directory ?
