Customise defaults for importing a solution

Postby steve1376656734 » Mon Sep 26, 2016 1:31 pm

Hi,

When I import a solution into the Servoy server I always use the same settings for the import options and some of these are different from the default (e.g. I always un-tick import Metadata and always tick the import i18n and compact solutions). Is it possible to set these as my default options and if not would anyone think this is a good feature request?

Thanks
Steve

The same is true for exporting a solution.
You could create a ticket to request this, I do not think it is possible now.

On last Servoy World, the keynote described a function to install a new version with just one mouseclick when I remember this right - Keyword "deployment automation".
Having such defaults would be a step towards that goal.

When creating the ticket you could also request that on exporting a solution, Servoy automatically adds a version number to the export filename (could be another option), so that one does not have to do this manually.

To be really effective I suggest you add your vote on the ticket (if you haven't already).
