Servoy 8.2 release candidate 2

We are pleased to announce the availability of Servoy 8.2 release candidate 2 (releasenumber 3102)

This version is available through the jar or exe

The update site is: http://download.servoy.com/developer/8x ... candidate/

An rc1 should be updating fine to rc2, if you want to upgrade a 8.1.x to the 8.2 rc2 release then the developer will upgrade, but the application server part needs a new servoy_update.zip attached to this post (overwrite the one in your install)

Hi Johan.

After the update I have lost all the buttons in the form editor as well as the webcomponents.

Any clue?

update from what to the RC2?
RC1?

Something must really go wrong in the browser there. Can you open the browser link (that is written out in the workspace log when you open an editor) directly the Internet Explorer and look what the console tells you?

What kind of components should you see there? Did you update your webcomponents, because from 8.2 on the servoy extra or the bootstrap components needs to have newer versions.

I have updated from 8.1 but I also run the servoy_updater you have posted

not sure what happens with the buttons
But you need to upgrade all the web packages to be also on the 82 supported releases
