Servoy Hosting?

Don't know if this is the right place for this post... so sorry if it's mis-filed. :)

I was wondering what hosts you recommend. Do you use war deployments or ?? Is there an "easy" option?

I'm trying to get some files up - for testing initially - but don't want to go through a day of configurations... :)

Any advice would be appreciated!

If you are using the ngClient, war deployment (your only option). If not, do it the normal Servoy way like before. Thats my 2 cents.

Hi Bob,

Not sure if the wiki has the documentation on how to deploy WAR files, but if not, we can help documenting it, at least for Apache Tomcat. We have a testing server with Softlayer (IBM) and we only deploy in WAR files as we try to only use NG Client.

So please let me know if you need support with hosting WAR deployments with Servoy 8.

Siteground is preferred hosting choice for me for many reasons. They are SSD based proven to be the fastest. The hosting environment is really integrated and stable and with excellent uptime with all of the servers.

Apart from the speed and the security, support is what we are most know of. They offer a fully managed solution when it comes to the speed, support and security. They ensure that the site is always up, protect it from threats and of course, if an error related to the hosting server ever appears, they will fix it for you

Siteground best selling plans are also at the really affordable price right now. I would highly recommend SiteGround and their GoGeek plan. Their perks are great and you always have 30-days worth of backups (last 30-days) that they will restore for you free of charge.
