Well, in response to your question as to whether the new Java update from Apple "makes JAVA work on the Mac" ... it is the Tiger OS (10.4) that really makes Java work on a Mac. In general, everything is snappier under OS 10.4, but Java is light years faster. If what you mean is "makes Java work
faster on a Mac. If you meant you see actual malfunctions of Java on your Mac, please be more specific.
As for early adoption, I do understand the aversion. However, if you will be using Servoy Developer consistently on your Mac(s), you would do yourself a favor to investigate Tiger compatibility of other software titles you depend on and, if at all possible, upgrade to Tiger. Then your Servoy development will be a much more pleasant experience.
