New Aqua Data Studio v. 6

Postby john.allen » Sat Dec 02, 2006 6:35 am

For the last few weeks I've been testing the newest version of Aqua Data Studio (it's 6 as they skipped 5 because it was such a big leap). I've also been a volunteer proof-reader of the documentation and thus tested the majority of the features on ASA, Oracle and MS SQL Server. For those of you unfamiliar with it, I'd highly recommend ADS and even more so now with the added feature set. It is particularly useful for those who have to work with multiple SQL vendors as it gives you a common UI for all of them. Their support is also second to none. Really a first class tool and, for me at least, an indispensable sidekick working hand-in-hand with Servoy. Download a trial copy at :

I'd also highly recommend joining the mailing list.

I think it is time for me to buy the tool.

The last release was already very nice. This seems to be even better.

Thanks for the Tip John!

ps. take a good look at the GUI. The developer uses the same GUI toolkit that I am using for the Analyzer :)
