Auto-update details

Postby svroemisse » Thu May 22, 2008 3:12 pm

There is a bug in the auto-updater that was shipped with beta 5, making it unable to apply the update.

To update, download the new servoy_updater.jar (only 9kB) to the directory where you installed Servoy, then run it.

To run the updater, type the following at the command prompt:

Code: Select all
cd <servoy install dir>
java -jar servoy_updater.jar -beta

Note that contrary to the statement in the original release notes, there is no setTabIndex(...) function. However, there is a tabIndex property on tab panels. It will now accept a form name.

The release notes have been changed accordingly.
