and suddenly I had sorting triangles in my table views

Postby IT2Be » Wed Feb 18, 2004 2:59 pm

Like in the subject line.

All of a sudden the headers of my table views (and portals ofcourse) showed me the sort triangle. They didn't show the right position (only descending) but still they were there including the aqua colored header of mac os...

What a nice preview of this new feature to come :). Unfortunately I can't reproduce it n'or can I tell when it popped up. And now it is gone again

very strange we don't set an icon (yet)
So why you are seeing icons in the header is very strange..

will put in on the feature request to set a nice icon on the column you are sorting

Thanks Johan. And yes it is strange since I only saw this for a couple of hours and it disappeared like it appeared 'out of nothing into nothing'...

Hi Marcel, Johan

I also saw these triangles, also in table view, thought they appeared when entering find mode, but nope. Now I can't reproduce them anymore :-( Would be nice to have the aqua sort triangles on columns.

Best regards, Robert

Hi All

I found the Bermuda traingles, at least to make a screenshot, then they are gone, remember it's the Bermuda triangle ,-)
The colors scheme is also taken from the OS, in this case Mac OS X, as it should be.

Regards, Robert

Column Name and Remark look really as one wishes them to appear, of course only on the sorted column, not on all :-)

Hi Robert, looks nice huh.

But, wasn't The Bermuda Triangle the place where everything disappeared IN. I never was aware of the fact that the Bermude Triangle itself disappeared

My question is: Just where exactly is BelchHot? Is that anywhere near a pub? LOL

I think that's a waypoint that should best be avoided :)

I can tell you where BelchHot is ;-) May be you will not find what you think (although I don't know what BelchHot means in english, but as it should be avoided, I can only assume it's something nasty or funny or ?

Best regards, Robert

PS: BelchHot is actually Belchen Hotel and located in the Swiss Jura (mountains at the Swiss north west border to France where Geneva is at the west part of it)

Hi Robert,

The word "belch" is another word for "burp", so "BelchHot" just sounded funny LOL
