Restart Developer Client after each change???

Postby Kahuna » Sat Mar 26, 2011 10:33 am

Hi Folks

I recall that we could make code and form changes in developer whilst the client was running, and those changes would be shown.

Now, we need to close and reopen the client after every change no matter what it is?

On login we do set form visibility and edit ability using the solution model, oh and some table filters too. Is this the culprit?

Is this behaviour now normal or is it our design that causes the problem.

Ian,

This should work, I just tried it and it works for me, both for smart client and web client.

If you have a small sample, please file a case http://crm.servoy.com/servoy-webclient/ ... oy_support

All I could send you is my entire solution Rob and you'll need data I guess. But we have this on several development PC's all Win 7.

Should I do that?

Ian,

So if you have a small solution it also works for you?
Maybe you can put in it a few of the things you do in your solution and the issue is triggered.
