For an application we are building we need to add some dynamic features to elements in the webclient. We are using the solution model to a large extend to manage specific demands of the interface. One thing we can not control are specific animations and/or manipulation of the DOM after it is send to the browser.
We want to use a js toolkit like jQuery to do this. So far for the intro, now for the question:
- Is there a way to add a specific name or identifier to an element so jQuery can pick it up clientside
Ideally we would have a property in eclipse to set a custom attribute for an element. This attribute could the be used clientside to do stuff like animation, resizing etc.
(e.g. jQuery code:
- Code: Select all
$(".MyClassName").hover(function(){$(this).fadeOut(100);$(this).fadeIn(500);});
