Cannot save form data

Postby IT2Be » Fri Nov 14, 2003 12:46 am

Hai,

I work in a client, make a new record, add content to a field, and switch to another form. I then get the message as described. Going back later gives me no message anymore.

I add the record in a portal, navigate to a tabpanel and input in that tabpanel. Since all data seems to be correct and the relationship looks ok I don't think that is the problem!

BTW I haven't seen this error in developer :?

Are you running Servoy 1.2rc9? if so, is it possible to reproduce the problem in a small solution? or could you send us an export?

The error message is below. Haven't tried to reproduce it but:

- These databases are a copy of the original. After that I uploaded four new revisions to the solution and, with that, did some updates to the tables too...

Could the problem be there? Because: I don't have the problem on my developer machine (although this is the original database also) and I don't have the issue on my other server (and this is a fresh database)...

BTW I do have a primary key for every table....

The sequence in servoy seems to be out of sync with youre database. You have to look ath youre email table to see what the max primairy key is. And then in dataproviders you have to set the sequence of the primairy key to the max value + 1.

Wil will build a extra button for this in the DataProvider dialog.
