Finding and formatting

Postby IT2Be » Mon Nov 17, 2003 9:59 am

Strange: After I did a find, and the find was broken, some formatting on fields disappears.

Numbers (globals) shown in a field appear as integers with one decimal, formatting of a date (fields in a record) 'dd-MM-yy' appears as 'yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss.msmsms'...

Not really nice to look at.

Johan, take whatever form with whatever view mode.

Place a datefield on top, formatted like 'dd-MM-yyyy' (or maybe something else).

Do a <ctrl><f> and place for instance a '*' in the datefield and press <enter>.

Click away the error message and do a <ctrl><j>.

Now you should see the mentioned formatting :? . BTW at least on rc9 and OS X 10.3 and the latest Java download...

Could it be that this problem has the same relation/background as with my find and formatting problem on dates?
