After uninstalling Servoy 3.1.6 and installing the new 3.5 evalution version 3.5 Servoy developer I get the message: cant connect to the repository server specified in the application preferences. The details button shows an error message JZ006 conncetion refused.
I also see that sybase is not running.
The installation went fine, no errros or what so ever on Windows XP Sp2
How can I fix this?

Any errors in the logs?
Did you try a clean install in a fresh directory?
Did you stop ASA 9 before installing?
Hallo Jan,
- yes, I did stop ASA9 before installing
- I did an uninstall using uninstaller.jar. Checked the d:\servoy directory on remaining files. But thought that the remaning sybase_log.txt could not be a cause of errors;
- yes I did a clean install, but no not in a fresh directory, although the servoy files were deleted;
- yes, there are error messsages in the sybase_log.txt log file, like
E. 09/02 13:05:47. Cannot open transaction log file – servoy_repository.log was created by a different version of the software. You must rebuild this database in order to use it with SQL Anywhere 10.
What a drag! That a new sybase version stumbles on a log file?!
After deleting the log files and restarting Servoy developer, I could re-import my test applications. So I’m back on the road again.
Thanks for your support.
