Another newbie question… How do I align multiple elements vertically by element centers? (Center alignment missing from toolbar? )
yes it does! was thinking in terms of alignment, not distributing space. didn’t see it in the alignment toolbar. thanks!
I know what you mean. I wish they would just remove a whole bunch of features and conveniences out of Servoy so I could see the trees in this forest!
I think I’ll go and submit that feature request now.

Wow I just woke up this morning and re-read my post … and hope my intention was not mis-read. Just in case my silly joke did not “translate” well, what I meant was that Servoy presents such a rich feature set, and so many new (and exciting) things to learn (at least for me, coming from FMP), that I also find myself “wishing” for a feature that is actually right there in front of me. Was not trying to make a joke at Steve’s expense, not in any way. (Or maybe the joke was OK and it’s just that I haven’t had my coffee yet this morning … 8:20 on Saturday morning here)
Also, upon re-reading Steve’s follow-up post, I agree … I also would expect an align-horizontal-centers or align-vertical-centers button to be on the same toolbar with all other alignment widgets. Which would leave only those two “distribute” buttons … maybe Align and Distribute might as well be on the same toolbar called Alignment (widgets for these functions are on the same toolbar, or in the same “inspector”, in other graphic-design tools I use)…
