application.getMethodTriggerFormName() returning null

application.getMethodTriggerFormName() seems to return null when used in a form event like onload and onshow.

Is this limitation by design or is it a bug?
In either case it would be great if it was also supported in form events.

this should work but are you calling globals or form methods?

I call a global method.
I just tested it with a form method and that works.
