application.setValueListItems() with typeahead

application.setValueListItems(valueListName, application.getValueListItems(valueListName2));

If I use the above method with the typeahead field, the typeahead becomes shortened as shown in the attachment.

Please help!

What exactly do you mean by shortened? I can’t really see the problem.

Yes I have seen this too. The list normally shows 5-10 rows at a time and you can scroll further. When using a large valuelist or so then it suddenly shows only 1 row at the time, as shown in the above screenshot.
At least that is my suspicion that is has to do with the amount of items in the list.

I am still having this problem in servoy 3.5b3.
Please help fix this.

Thanks!

This might also be a Java bug. I see this behavior sometimes in List objects as well. If the list is too long, you end up with something like a combobox rather than a list.

It may or may not be a java bug. I have a typeahead with only 3 values and I still get the same issue

Hameed,

This is smart client, correct?
What happens if you change to another Look&Feel?

I cannot reproduce this, if you create a case in our support system, make sure to include a small sample solution.

Rob

Hi Rob / Hameed,

Did anyone post a case in support ?

If not then I will do it as I have this problems in 3.5 rc2

Cheers
Harry

Hi Harry,

Can you file a case in the support system? I have not done so yet.
