Auto enter options forgotten

Hello,

every once in a while I see that auto enter options for certain tables are forgotten (modification date, creation user name, …). Could anyone imagine under which circumstances Servoy forgets these settings?

It is a pain to set creation date, user name and modification date and user name for almost 200 tables…

Patrick… How do you even set auto enter creationdate or userid in servoy?

Hi Andrew,

You can do this at Dataprovider level.

Go to dataproviders
Choose a database table to view and click on a column
Click on the properties button at bottom of dataproviders dialogue

In there it will allow you to set an autoenter option and the option choice(s) will depend upon the data type of the column you are working with
