bug calculating fields

I have a unstored calculation named: tav

if(!relaties_to_personen.tav)
{
	return "T.a.v. " + relaties_to_mailingen.tav;
}
else
{
	return relaties_to_personen.tav
}

On a form I have only the following label: %%tav%%
If I change something in the relation, the field: tav is not re-calculated.
If I place an extra field: tav (I mean a real field!) than the label and the field are re-calculating fine!

I have made a work-around by placing the field in white-text on the form, so no one noticed it, but is this right behaviour??

BTW: still using 1.2 on XP

tags in contrast to dataproviders are only evaluated at the same moment as the event onRecordSelect

Hi Jan, that I figured out too!
But is it, because of a special reason?
Is it going to be changed?

HJK:
But is it, because of a special reason?

No

HJK:
Is it going to be changed?

No, why should we?

:lol: :lol: I like your answers! No nonsens! :lol: :lol:

but, alle gekheid op een stokkie,

it is not expected behaviour. Like Filemaker, a labeltag is reacting the same as a field.

At some points we must differ from FMP ;)

I am laughing my socks off! :lol:
funny guy!
Do you need a vacation? :lol:
