What is the defalut color for button elements and is there a way to turn the shading off (the shading that seems to be there in the background of the button/field etc when pure white is selected as the bg color)?

the shading is caused by the Look & Feel: Kunstoff.
No, you can’t turn it off. YOu have to choose another L&F
