I have a database with activities, some of those are scheduled. I would like to export them to iCal / Outlook.

The reason I want to do that is:

  1. the possibility to synchronize with cell phones / palm etc.
  2. the intelligibility of the graphic interface of a calendar

I have no idea how to do that, can someone help?

If you also want to show a calendar in Servoy as well you could consider the Calendar Bean from IT2Be.
I believe this also has build in functions for im-/exporting from/to iCal format.

You could also consider to beta test our PDI-Plugin… It does that (create iCalendar files) very well :wink:

Well, webclient will follow later this year. No ETA though…

The PDI-Plugin creates iCalendar and vCard formats inside Servoy methods or calculations. So it is fully usable in the Webclient as well.
