Hi guys.
I have created a solution based on the Sample CRM that came with version 3.
I deleted the sampleCRM, disabled the UDM datasource, did a clean import & renamed the solution to ‘abrsm_pubs’ with datasource ‘abrsm’.
I also re-imported svyCore and pointed that to ‘abrsm’.
When I export the solution from my clients system and try and import onto my local computer to do testing, further development, I get the following dialog
I know the solution already exists! I just want to import a new release of it!
It also comes up with a similar dialog for the style ‘svyWebCrm’, which I click cancel to to allow me to carry on the import.
I cannot import a new release, I have to delete old solution and then import the solution from the clients system.
The main difference between my setup and that of my client is that I am using MS SQL Server 2005 Express Edition & client is using full MS SQL Server 2005.
I have never had this problem before when using Servoy 2, or a different solution on 3.

This typically happens when you do a ‘clean import’. Are you sure you didn’t do that?
With a regular import, a new release of the existing solution should be generated.

I may have done on the first import (can’t remember).
How do I get the clean one to allow new releases to be imported?

You don’t, IT2Be is right about that. But a regular import will ask you if it can overwrite existing things and also, if it can remove stuff that is not in the import. By answering yes to both questions, you should end up with an exact copy of the original solution.
