Cannot remove batch processor

Hello,

I seem to be unable to remove one of the two batch processors on a 3.5 server running on Gentoo Linux. Does anyone have a clue what could go wrong?

Thanks
Patrick

Hmm, just guessing…does it still hold transactions or database locks open ?
Not sure if Servoy will kill off a headless client that has those open and/or is still running methods…

No. If I restart the server, stop the batch processor, remove it and restart the server again, my batch processor is back again. No clients open or anything like that.

Ah! So you can remove the batchprocessor but it reappears after you restart the server.
I have seen this as well in 3.1.6.

Not sure where Servoy server keeps track of these settings. Some XML file perhaps ?

Yes.

No idea.

I found where Servoy stores the info. In the servoy.properties file (format: batchProcess.#.param).
I see in my 3.1.6 setup that the server doesn’t show any batchprocessors but the properties file still shows that setting.

You know the properties file is only updated on shutting down/restart of the server, right?

Patrick, do you also see this behavior if you shut down the server after removing the batch processor and then starting the server again?

Now I do ;)
