can't log in after installing jtds-.1.1.jar

Hi everyone. I need urgent help.

I tried installing jtds driver to fix a cannot save form error per Bob’s instructions. I backed up my work using the repository. Then imported back. My solution has password settings. simply “admin, admin”

After importing my solution back in, no matter what password i try, i keep getting “login failed” error. Please i need to get back into my solution. I even tried changing my settings back to my old settings and it still doesn’t work

The funny thing is, when i use the web admin
http://10.3.51.15:8080/servoy-admin/

it gives a big warning saying "WARNING: No administrator user, this is NOT SECURE! Create one NOW. "

these are the instructions from Bob that i followed:
"Attached is the driver (jtds-.1.1.jar) - just put it in the “drivers” folder of the Servoy folder and CHANGE the connection string in the connections that point to SQL Server to the following:

jdbc:jtds:sqlserver://localhost:1433/;TDS=8.0

Change “localhost” to the right IP and “” to the correct database name.

I have also included the entire archive with the documentation, etc. - just for your reference (jtds-1.1-dist.zip)."

I guess the solution has a flag that it should use a password but your repository has none defined.
So I guess you can fix it by defining a new admin account in the repository.
You should be able to do that in servoy-admin or otherwise in Developer.
In Developer however you do need to have a solution open. So you can create one with 1 form and then add the user/password.

Hope this helps.

Similar as what happened to me

exported a solution with users
imported in a fresh servoy environment
checked import users

Could not login

I think the problem was that I didn’t check (I don’t recall the exact phrasing) the checkbox in the same import users dialog where it says create administrators.

After I logged inon the server and created the admin group & user there problem was solved
