Set for OS X LAF, the ComboBox control is much taller than the OS X standard control and also sports a single arrow, instead of the dual-headed arrows. Is there any way to get the standard size OS X comboBox? (I need one that’s 16 pixels high). Also, the ‘background’ around the arrow section of the control doesn’t seem to be affected by any settings – background, foreground, or border. Is there any way to change that part of the control so one can match the background chosen for Part on which the control sits?
please post these question to apple. Because apple is responsable for the look and feel implementation. We can do very little about it.
