the servoy home page “Servoy JasperReports Tutorial”
http://servoy.com/generic.jsp?mt=396&taxonomy_id=795
guides me to “Download the Servoy JasperReports Plugin.”
http://code.google.com/p/servoy-jasperr … loads/list
after wondering witch beta will be the right on, and finding Project home:
“IMPORTANT The project site has moved to ServoyForge.¶”
http://www.servoyforge.net/projects/ser … orts/files
wondering again witch beta will be the right on…
I just simply try to do my first “hello world” jasper report. Would this be the right joice:

Thanke you for help
I fixed the link on the website, so now it points to ServoyForge.
If you just want to get started with the basics, downloading the basic distribution would be sufficient.

Thank you Paul,
Next Step in the Tutorial is
"Download the Servoy JasperReports Documentation. "
http://www.servoy.com/downloads/tutoria … tation.pdf
I this Documentation, an Page two it say’s:
Unzip the Jasper Reports Plugin zip file.
Content:
plugins\jasperPluginRMI.jar
plugins\jasperPluginRMI.jar.jnlp
plugins\jasperPluginRMI\commons-beanutils.jar
plugins\jasperPluginRMI\commons-collections.jar
plugins\jasperPluginRMI\commons-digester.jar
… some more …
First you stop Servoy developer or server and extract the contents of this zip file in your
Servoy directorie and let the subdirectories of the zip file intact.
But the downloaded Basic_Servoy_JasperReports_Plugin_v.3.1.0_beta2.zip values complete
other files and subdirectories:
- servoy_jasperreports.jar
- servoy_jasperreports.jar.jnlp
and a subdirectorie “jasperreports” with a view more .jar files
I’m wondering if a have a wrong jasper_documentation.pdf, or wrong files, or maybe i shouldnt take the
live too serious, an should just move all the files and the directorie into the …\Servoy\application_server\plugins
Is this OK just moving the files ?
Thank you for making it bit more clear.
regards
You have just to move the files and the servoy_jasperreports folder in the servoy/application_server/plugin folder.
The Documentation seems to be a little outdated.

Yes it is. Specially the tutorial videos, they showing that kind of versions of servoy and jasper, that
I have no chance as a newbie without asking lots of silly questions.
