creating appointments in servoy HTML vs portal

Hi there,

We are planning to create a very simple appointment module for a studio managemment software in servoy that we are going to create. I am thinking of the simple and best way of doing. The appointment module will have a day view, week view & month view. What is the best way to do? HTML with style sheets or using portal?

Please help me shed some lights on this.

Thanks

Let me now if you are interested!

Thanks for that. I know about your product already. I really want to develop it myself and integrate that in my solution. I want to make it as simple as possible. I have a feeling that doing in HTML is simple & flexible. I need some advice from you experts.

Thanks

In my oppinion portals are the simplest!
You can do GUI things, that Servoy now (with HTML) can’t do.

In the beginning my calendar was a bit sluggiest and slow, because of the 40 portals in month-view, but Johan did a tremendous job of speeding things up with portals! (will be in 2.1 beta 4)

Thank you for your advice. I would develop according to your advice. I hope there will be a lot HTML could do when servoy brings up the new HTML rendering component (in version 2.5)?? I heard this news somewhere in the forum.
