CSS styles don't work well

I have been trying to use CSS styles. Its a big selling feature for Servoy, as far as I’m concerned.

I know that properties of an element, such as borderType, should be left set to DEFAULT. I know that to take effect it is necessary to close and reopen the solution - which is painful, by the way. I know to set the styleName property to the stle sheet that will be used, and to set the styleClass (without the leading period ) where required.

Even so, most styles are simply ignored.

Is this a bug?

Do Servoy styles simple not work as advertised?

Are there any Servoy bodies reading this?

There is no need to reload servoy after changing a CSS. To get a good overview of usage of CSS download 2.2.5 and have a look at the samples. It’s very straightforward and as you indicate one big selling feature.
